I’m a huge fan of the originals, still boot Black Hawk Down up from time to time.
Judging from the trailer, this is not a reboot of the series, but a Battlefield 2042 / Call of Duty mashup multiplayer hero shooter. Except I guess less polished. Kinda bummed out to see the owners of the IP use it for such a blatant trend chasing cash grab.
It will be nothing like the old one…

It’s Tencent so it’s safe to say there will be both.
I really hope that there will be destructible environment, so that Battlefield will finally have some more competition (other than Battlebit of course).

Shame, too. NovaLogic had some great milsim IPs back in the day. This was probably their best known. I always used to play Comanche 3, Delta Force 2 and Delta Force: Land Warrior as a kid.I was actually thinking about the Delta Force 4 few days ago, wondering whatever happened of the series, but then I thought far cry and cod kinda took over and provided much more fun FPS experiences over the following years.
Yeah, me too. Maybe not days, but very recently at least.
