You know there’s something a little cruel about being a satisfactory fan and a factorio fan at the same time…

I haven’t even started with satisfactory 1.0, I’m still behind on DSP the dark swarm update. Factorio coming out soon and I’m eyeing Alan Wake 2 that’s on a sale right now, while I just recently bought the DLC for Against the Storm that I only played for a few hours.

      I need help

Yeah I played so much pre 1.0 but never really got around to it after release. I knew how much I would be addicted if I really got into it again so I never really got around to it. I really need to get some time to try the base game as released before doing this expansion. But man, I really want to.

Are you going to be playing with a group? Or a solo make a factory? Have you been sketching out possible designs already?

I have a group of 4 other friends that’ll be joining me, much less experienced, but enthusiastic group.

I’ve personally kept myself in the dark for designing factory layouts as i havent watched any videos of space age yet, and don’t know any recipies. I wanna cherish the experience of playing my favorite game for the first time again struggling through all the stages.

But speaking of sketching… Ive done literal sketches before during my free time at work of nuclear setups when i was first getting into those about 4 years ago. (yes i mainly did only solar for a loooong time) And doing some spaghetti belt puzzles bc i was bored :p

Oh God. The spaghetti belt puzzles. That’s a dark art, so tantalizing, but sets traps for the future.

Like having one speed belt, and then a different speed belt going below it. Works for the moment, great throughput, as soon as an upgrade planner is applied boom everything stops working. A little time bomb for your future self
