Well ACTUALLY, the original Gameboy pictured didn’t have a backlit screen, so it was a nightmare trying to play it at night time in the back seat of the car, catching a brief glimpse as lampposts pass by, stubbornly refusing to go to sleep despite the headache you were getting because that goddamn Dratini wasn’t going to stay in the safari ball and you were too committed to rest now.
