pleez lets BOYCOTT SONY plz

I bought a PS5 like 3 or 4 months ago from Costco… I’ve not opened the box or anything (for one reason or another) + I’ve got a rig, n am in the middle of putting a new one together) … I don’t mind not plugging it(PS5) in for another 3 to 4 months.

Shame 😔 on Sony

I’ll play my xiv (trial) account on PC 😂😆

It’s still more work to fine tune your settings that simply selecting, performance or quality on console. Lots of us don’t want that agg with every new game.

Many games I play automatically determine pretty reasonable settings. And worst case, you can always lean towards lower settings.

What games need fine tuning? I suppose some games still come with motion blur and a small field of view by default, but those settings are (hopefully) also available on console. Everything t else is pretty much determined out of the box.

In my experience games will underestimate your hardware to get your more FPS, but you can drag the quality slider one step to the right if you want more graphical fidelity (or to the left for more frames). I usually don’t bother with that shit, though.

I have been using the same PC with the same hardware for 7 years. I have never had an issue playing the latest games that I wanted to, and I never have to so much as open the settings menu to get the game to run well. It’s literally not an issue.

That used to be the case like 20 years ago. All games automatically change to the best quality setting based in your pc when you launch them. The only things that MIGHT cause issues are when you have multimonitor setups but that might also be the case for multimonitor console setups so it’s a mute point.
