Churning oceans and storms would have spread that first life form would only needaybe a couple centuries millenia to spread across the Earth, while that leap from self replicateling macromolecules to actual life form would have simultaneously been way harder tham you think.

There’s not really any swing voters who are undecided. There is a massive group that is voting for Trump, and a lot of people who would rather stay home on election day. All known lofe on Earth uses the same base “toolset” to keep it simple while genetic analysis shows all known life is at least distantly related. While it isn’t impossible that life developed multiple times on Earth, any other lineages were unable to compete and died off quickly.

It should also be noted how dramatically easier it is for existing life forms to hog all the available resources than it is for said resources to go through biogenesis. This is why scientists are unable to create life forms in labs, because no matter how sterile we try to make the conditions, some microbe finds a way in and thrives on the resoirce dense media that scientists are trying to recreate life with.

We still do that today, just with thr patient under anesthesia so they dont freak out about uaving a hole drilled in their skull.

The meme wasn’t about imaginary numbers, but irrational numbers like pi or the swuare root of 3. Mathematicaly, those numbers have mever ending decimals that never repeat. But quantum mechanics doesn’t allow for any measurements smaller/more precise than the planck scale. The quantum nature of the universe means that no object in the universe can have an irrational length.

This is late stage capitalism. We all have bour long commutes and work 9 hour shifts. Half the day is dedicated to work at this point, and that is assuming you just get up and go straight to work. So if you want to watch some tv, make dinner, and spend time with your kids when you get home, you have to take that time from somewhere else, and the only place to take that is from time set aside for sleeping.

On a clear night I can catch a Cardinals game on KMOX on the Indiana/Ohio line. There have been reports of people in Glasgow being able to get the broadcasts. But it’s really only good for talk radio. Any music sounds like shit. But listening to a baseball game on AM radio is such a peaceful way to soend a sunmer evening.
