Burning physical bluray discs can take quite a lot of time.
No no, Monster blade is a popular pokemon ripoff.
That is actually how the Xbox user interface started to look like after a while. It went from “what you probably want functions” to 80% ad, whitespace and “suggestions” with a Play the game somewhere in there.
Umm. It sounds more like that you are just trying out new things and genres and finding that it’s not always a hit with you. That’s healthy.
User can specify keywords that are used to filter and exclude the users own subscription timeline from posts that include the words in the post-topic.
For example: User adds the keyword “died” in the settings to a filter list. The topic “Great actor of movie X has died” will now not appear in the feeds. There also could be a more advanced version of this that allows to assign keywords to different communities.
In every post, the tools in the “three dot overflow”-menu should include an option for “Hide post”, which makes that post disappear from the feed.
Certain topics cause unnecessary anxiety, on reddit they were easy to avoid with RES. Here the only way to remove a post from haunting you from your timeline is to block the poster, which is bit overkill.
The slightly more hardcore version of r/place.
Just to be clear, because the articles often are not:
This will be great for getting a feeling of a wider soundscape. I haven’t heard it but i’d guess it also messes up the soundstage of the music actually has or it sounds more like headphones. You technically could listen to real surround sounds with just three speakers but this only connects to stereo bluetooth sources.
Thanks for bringing out Goetia. I bought it back when i had to have any sounds as a distraction, Goetia being very silent at times drove me off almost instantly.
Just seeing that you mentioned good puzzles was enough to give a real go. 3 hours later i’m loving it.
Maybe i shouldn’t use my real-life name anymore. Oh, wait. That’s a nickname.
Lemmy.ml bans you.
But the delivery guy still wants money for the food you ordered.
I’d guess the plan is that if the fediverse and meta mingles together, the fedi-users start to follow the meta users in such amount that when the breakup finally happens, they are reliant on meta to continue. People stay on facebook, eating the ads and manipulation just because their mothers and friends are there.
Just thought about the future nightmare of receiving an invite on mastodon to a friends private meta-instance “party” and to view it you are suddenly offered to either decline or import your fedi-account.
I switched to feedbro, because the feeds started to fill with anxiety driven news. So i needed something with good filtering.
It’s a browser plugin. Very modifiable, looks fine and behaves well. All that it misses is a way to sync to a service. Has manual backups for feeds and filter-rules.
Tip. It can handle youtube channels and twitter users feeds.
I put reddit on my dns blocking list for now. Prevents accidental access. Replaced the buttons on my browser and phone with lemmy, since it’s the thing i probably zombie-touch by habit.
Said the stranger entering the musky pub, while three of the older patrons turned their heads to see what the fuzz was about. The old men gruffed out loud and turned back to the playing cards on the table.
Test plead from an HP inkjet printer. Please load more ink.
So umm… Could you technically pirate these updates? Someone could just nab the installer files and share them publicly. I find it hard to imagine that Microsoft built countermeasures for OS update-piracy.
