Maybe it’s just been a while for me but what part was this? I dont remember a section like that off the top of my head.

Made the switch to Tidal, and I only have a couple nitpicks: no console app and it does this weird thing on desktop where it plays a split second of paused music when other apps or windows are opened. They’re small things though, and I’m happy to be supporting artists more.
Fun game. I don’t usually go in for card games, so I ignored the hype, but this is a good one. Got to ante 4 a few times over the last couple of hours before rng killed me. I’m sure I’ll get my money’s worth out of this one
I have a similar line of thinking. I’m a musician, so if I was filthy rich I might want to donate money to a school’s music department. If the school is one fiscal entity, I would have to put that as a stipulation to ensure they gave the money to that department, not divert it to something overfunded or just padding the board’s pocket as bonuses for “a job well done”
Stay here and enjoy the Crab Rangoon. I’ll be right back.
Man, those guys get more relevant every year
Ugh, dammit Hitchcock put your shirt back on
Fuck you those 3-year-old wounds barely healed
This does have real implications in dendrochronology. If you were to take a beam from a structure built hundreds or even thousands of years ago, you can use ring spacing along with climate records of the area it was cut down in to determine when it was cut down, which will tell you the approximate age of the structure (and as a result, the tree). The rings can reflect events such as floods, fires, droughts, and periods of rapid growth, so if you can match those up with climate records and known samples, it works out the way the graphic describes.
Just not very interesting. Most people just don’t show much interest in me beyond work buddy status, and work is pretty much the entirety of my social life. Down-side of moving to a new area. Making friends as an adult is hard, dating doubly so when there’s no one to introduce you to new people.
But historically the hardest part for me is expressing anything that can’t be back-pedalled into “just meant as a friend, buddy.” The second you cross that line, nothing will ever be the same for better or for worse. I hate committing to that change. Just feels like I’m ruining things irreparably every time. I’ll toe that line all day, crossing is just a bitch.
That movie slaps you in the face at the end in a pretty universally relatable way. No shame in that one.
It is a video. Lemmy clients seem to be broken for some videos and gifs, I have no idea why. This one works for me, but some others don’t
We happy?
I have a buddy who is into this guy’s videos. Similar tone for all of them, a lot of taking on an evil role to point out problems. His AfterEffects skills are top notch, though, and I think it is literally all done by him.
See, that’s the thing. I still can’t tell if you’re talking about several buttons, or if you’re talking about buttons located in parking lots. You’re saving a miniscule amount of time at best.
Everyone who looked at how much money WoW was pulling in without having to churn out game after game and figured out why
