Are they counting children? 2.6B people are under the age of 20. How are they counting money for those?
I agree, still not good, but a very useless metric.

About 13M households in the US have negative net worth, so would I have more wealth than 13M US households put together? Without knowing how this figure is calculated, this seems like a meaningless metric. Though the wealth gap is definitely a problem by any metric, I don’t think this metric is very helpful.
I wonder how many times this needs to be reposted and downscaled to no longer be true. It looks like this is already not the original resolution of the picture.
!mcmansionhell@sh.itjust.works would love this
There are 16 thrusters on the service module and they only need like 4. One is malfunctioning. They’re trying to diagnose the problem to fix it for next time since the service module burns up on reentry.
There’s 4d golf too by code parade.

Agree, but the leadtime is very long, so where’s the best place to invest in 10 years? Hopefully the grid is much more renewable then.
Renewables are cheaper per kwh, but it’s yet to be seen if they’re cheaper when you get to higher grid renewable percentages and need to involve massive grid storage.
There are versions of math where that isn’t true, with infinitesimals that are not equal to zero. So I think it is an axium rather than a provable conclusion.
Prehistoric gif coming in!
Corporation controller also seems apt, since that’s what their wealth usually is.
Remember, refineries are the bottleneck not the wells and pipelines. So targeting it all on refineries has the highest impact to production.
Donating to United24 hopefully helps if you can’t volunteer yourself. Does anyone have info on how to donate to Ukraine anti oil more specifically?
We make a lot of sausage in meetings. Brainstorm ideas and figure out what the challenges will be. Having all five or six people there at once is much more efficient than taking back the forth to each one individually.
There are status update meetings, but those are so other people know what you’re doing so if it effects them they can work with it.
“Everyone needs to agree with me more”
I think legends handled it okay, that the battle of yavin was the tipping point, but the empire still had remnants that needed to be countered by the New Republic. And the New Republic has its own problems, but faces an entirely different threat than the empire too.
Whereas with the new movies, they just hit the reset button back to episode four, rather than developing on the trajectory in interesting ways, which would have given Luke’s actions and the original trilogy more weight.
Star wars a new hope started out with Luke as an everyman. But since then it’s all become about the bloodline. Rise of Skywalker is especially bad, tearing down the anyone can be special and saying you can only be special because of your bloodline.
At least download the video beforehand to avoid interruptions.
Yup, free market only incentives competition when it’s actually free. Demand monopolys are just as bad as supply ones.
Is this is what happens when you don’t assume a spherical cow?
