You can still stream many games that might be more intensive to the Deck from that massive desktop.
Pretty sure most windows users hate their OS right back.
I’d argue most of us are older but not too old to remember what the internet was as well.
So a mortgage is part of your mortgage? It’s literally not your mortgage, it’s a cost of having a mortgage just like food isn’t healthcare.
None of those are “part of your mortgage” They’re things you pay as well as a mortgage.
Oh yeah? https://www.irs.gov/publications/p936
The IRS says you can deduct the interest on your mortgage but I can’t deduct when the rent goes up? Mortgages are usually fixed rates that stay about the same always while rent is constantly going up.
Other platforms with ads haven’t really seen people move off those platforms. I feel like once it reaches that critical mass of being nearly ubiquitous it takes a massive problem to push people off of it. Look at SMS in the US and how it’s refused to die compared to other markets because it has reached saturation and now the only challenge to that ubiquity is iMessage who basically lives off being a fake SMS service.
That’s capitalism for you. They’re not interested in making things better, they’re interested in making more profit.
Unless it’s good to break the law.
The law is not good or bad, it’s just the law
Not only does the salary go down in small towns but the number of positions are greatly reduced. All it takes is a layoff and that “cheaper” small town could be too expensive because there are no more positions to fill.
And corporations. Allowing profit to go free is allowing the labor who made the profits to go unpaid.
It’s not about the legal liability and more that publically traded corporations only want profit. Reddit would need to cater to advertisers who would not like all the porn, it’s why Tumblr and Imgur removed the porn.
It’s weird that 60 years ago Gary would not be considered a small city. Went to shit real fast.
I think Reddit would have to tackle the mountains of porn too for those optics.
Nah those are the wizards who use light to carve the rocks. To think it needs software, otherwise it’s like a dead person on life support with no brain activity, there’s no thinking happening.
Just say you do it through god and you’re good
The country can be huge but most people live in urban areas now, it’s not like they’ve gotta waste time and money running fiber all over north dakota. We’re talking cities with populations that rival some countries.
While I agree that not chasing further hardware demands is refreshing, it’s also really frustrating to buy a nearly decade old tablet to play games. Many smart phones could run switch games at this point and seeing PCs emulate the switch better than the switch can run natively is exceptionally frustrating.
