  • I think it’s even more linear than FF7 Remake and that shouldn’t be possible. We all haven’t finished the game yet, but there is not much Profi in running arround mich because lot of future paths are blocked and you don’t find much items. There are a not much uninteresting side missions and the main story that is quite linear. The story is quite interesting and imersive, so the game is designed to follow the build path for an impressive experience, but if you want a game that gives you freedom, then FF16 is the wrong game. Start of the game hast 70/30 Story, gameplay, but it get less the further you get into it, but you will always be interrupted because of this imersive story that is in my opinion perfectly included.

  • I think this game has a bad design. There are no mendatory trainers to beat, so people doesn’t fight them at all. But the trainer were always a indication of the difficulty in the region. But this game is designed with the intention to go to the open world and catch a lot pokemon, which is boring for me. My recommendation to level would be to finish some raids, the exp is decent on them

That’s kind of hard for me to say. Fire Emblem 7 and Sacred Stones are the one i played the most, because i played them in my childhood. I like the Story and art design of Echoes Shadow of Valentia a lot. I like Awakening, Engage and Radiant Dawn a lot as well. But i guess my favorite is Fates (Conquest). Because Fates has so amazing map design and very good designed strategy gameplay.

My favorite Jrpg’s are Persona 5, Final Fantasy X, 7-Remake, Trails of Cold Steel series, Tales of Arise (yes like it more than berseria), Fire emblem games and Ys 8. I try to get into some smaller and older ones and for sure will play more indies in the future, because i have the feeling to play to much mainstream games.

  • I don’t watch the trailer, i just know what’s inside the demo. I think the goblins are boring, because goblins are so generic fantasy creatures. I like the morbol. I’m fine wie non futuristic fantasy setting, but ff4/9/12 are better examples for me than this 3h demo. Beastman later sound nice. I will for sure have a different opninion after 10h or after completing the game.

  • I played it and my general thought about it it, that it’s quite good so far. The Eikon battles feel nice and mostly on a technical side it’s good. Enjoy the Morbol battle as well. I think the movement is a bit slow or you got interrupted in movement, but it’s fine so far. And the scenery when we hunt goblins looks quite good. But i don’t like that this game looks like a generic fantasy setting. Sure there are chocobos, but it’s not as edgy as ffVII. Just usual knights and worker are in the castle, no special race, no mogry. As a long Final fantasy Fan i often don’t see it as a final fantasy game. I hope that get at least a bit better. I will get this game day 1 and hope I enjoy it.
