I have been using Fastmail for a few years. No complaints. No issues. Entirely unremarkable.
I have used it as a daily driver. My biggest issue was the nix language. If I was to go back, I would invest more time in learning nix.

Yes absolutely. It is really great. It is also a source of frustration, e.g., missing configuration options, non-obvious options and so on. Overall it works well.
