I have a Dell Laptop (Latitude 7390) where I changed in the bios some option to maximize battery longevity and 6 years later it still lasts quite a lot.

So offline (external) bitlocker drives that are unlocked with the key only.
Or internal bitlocker drives that are unlocked with AMD fTPM are excluded from this exploit?
For a PC with Keyboard and mouse, I prefer a monitor.
But for a PS5 with a controller, yes. But not just a TV, the whole thing TV + sofa + ideally good speakers (personally I prefer 2.0 monitors to keep it simpler)
Some people use a console with a monitor, from a short distance. But I personally use it when I want to relax playing from the sofa on a big screen.
The only issue here is that my wife was the main TV user before I got the PS5, so now I need to add another TV in the bedroom or something.
The PS5 is amazing to play from the sofa. But I recommend getting a big 4K TV with 120Hz, VRR and good HDR (lot of nits) to get the most of it. (I have a basic HDR 4K60FPS 4-5 year old Samsung TV and the experience is still good).
I have a PC, SD and recently got a PS5. And lately I’m mainly playing GT7.
Now… every time I buy a game I check if I should get it on Steam or PS5.
For online paid games I always go with PC because in PS5 you have to pay a subscription.
The only things I don’t like from the PS5 are games that run at 30FPS. And there are quite a lot. And, of course, that you have to pay a stupid 70€+ yearly subscription to be able to play paid games online with other humans.
GT7 and Warzone (the 2 I play the most) are 60 FPS. But FF16 is 30FPS and even on a controller is a bit painful to watch.
Wearing deodorant has nothing to do with bathing regularly.
You can bath regularly and not need deodorant, every body is different. Also depends on the activities done between each bath/shower.
Now some people do not bath regularly and use deodorant or perfume, that never ends up well in terms of odor.
On PC (Linux). I prioritise Steam.
But if the game is much cheaper in other launchers that can be used with Lutris. Like Epic. That doesn’t stop me from getting it there instead.
I must confess that sometimes fast travel removes a lot of value from a game. While it saves you a lot of time like a cheat. Cheats also save you time.
One thing that I also noticed is that my monitor (which has i think 350 nits / LG 27GL850-B) it is much easier and clear to see at direct sunlight because of the anti-glare screen.
But I doubt that antiglare/matte displays is a thing you find on TVs.
It was really straightforward to be honest. But I did it 2 weeks ago.
Maybe 6-12 months ago was more difficult.
I installed Lutris I opened it, then installed epic store Then I logged in and installed hitman.
To play I have to open lutris > epic store > hitman 3.
I recently played hitman 3 with Lutris on Kubuntu in Epicstore.
Sync was working well. Game was running well.
It is not Steam (which has a native Linux installation), but at least it works.
If the price is the same I go with steam, if epic is much cheaper I go with epic.
Thanks for the hints. So that means that in a bright room, a TV with 1500+ nits is ideal for HDR right?
But even with a 1500 nits TV, HDR will be still much better in a dark room? (Where OLED shines?).
Aesthetically I prefer the old one.
But if you have to travel with the PS5 from time to time. (Example going to a second home for a week or more) I’d totally go with the new one as it fits a bit better on a backpack.
I have a budget Samsung 55" NU7400 and I can’t see shit while playing a PS5 game with HDR during the day. I need to close the blackout curtains otherwise I see my face reflected.
Next TV I buy I will do some research and spend a bit more money, 120Hz, more nits, VRR, etc.
I recently got a PS5 and I only buy offline games because of this.
They should release maybe some 20€ annual plan just including online gaming and maybe 500MB of cloud storage for saves.
But having to pay for this is a disadvantage Vs PC games and having to pay like 74€ per year is even worse.
Yeah and on the living room with a big screen (I got a PS5 recently) I think the PS5 is doing lot of 1440p FSR upscaling.
And it still looks nice on a 4K TV.
I’m never ditching 27" 1440p for a bigger resolution like 4K or ultrawide.
I can’t remember if I installed via APK or Fdroid. But thanks I’ll then uninstall and reinstall
In the play store I still have the old version. (I don’t get an “Update” button just Open or Uninstall).
Not hurried to update. But wonder if it’s not updating because I originally installed the apk manually or just because I need to wait a bit more.
I read this post (without knowing the game yet but having it on a wishlist to get in a few months) and can’t stop thinking how lucky we were with the quality of Dark Souls, Elden Ring, BB and Sekiro.
If I tip I generally do it based on the work/effort rather than the price.
