711·3 months agoFirst thing that came in to my mind was Gears of War with its specific third person view and hiding behind covers. I don’t think it was the first game with that mechanic but the most influential one
Once you finish New Vegas you will “forget” to post screenshots, right? It was just a way to sell New Vegas to others?

1·6 months agoYou are right but also assume people care about that. Lots of time open sourcing your project is a way to collaborate with others, build a portfolio or just for fun. It’s not a statement.
I believe OpenSUSE uses something called “meta” packages that contain a bunch of other packages. For example if there’s games-meta package it will fetch a bunch of games and during update it may try to install them again. Search through installed packages and see if you have any meta ones.
Seriously what’s in there? Last ISO I’ve used with size like this came with 6 different DEs. Ubuntu ships only Gnome IIRC

23·9 months agoIt’s so you cannot share the image by itself. A static page with .jpg and nothing else won’t have all that sweet tracking and ads that everyone should enjoy.

I’m at my third type of medication and still no difference. At least I’m not absolutely drained as on first one but yet to see a positive impact. Yes, I’m diagnosed.
