Thousand year door is so good. It would be great for more people to be able to play it easily.

Maybe they should focus on what their user base wants instead trying to be TikTok or whatever is hot this week.
Brennan is incredible, and that is an entertaining cast. Going to have to watch this with my wife. Kind of surprised Heidi N Closet isn’t joining up. I know she did a one shot with critical role.
I pay for a youtube premium family plan. Best money I spend monthly. I want to support the youtube creators that I watch, I don’t have to see ads (I block them anyway), and I get a music service included.
They will just have to create a fee to “cover the costs” of having to tell you what they are going to charge you.
Can’t mourn reddit too much, so much good stuff is already here, and if one instance tries shady things, then you can just hop on over to another one.
Pretty similar for me, but I never did Fark. Funnily enough after digg was sold and relaunched I started using the new digg pretty regularly. It isn’t old digg, but it does find and aggregate decent news and entertainment links.
Super Mario kart and the original doom. I can play either of those games at any point and always have fun. There are newer games in both of those series, and I do love them too, but if I want some comfort gaming it’s the originals for me.
I like plugging a second wireless mouse into a coworkers computer. The secret is to be subtle about it. Just turn the mouse on and jiggle it slightly. Do that randomly over a series of days. If they don’t notice you can always get more aggressive with it.
I tried playing the first one in VR, but that didn’t really work out for me. I ended up watching my wife play it. Interesting puzzle game.
I think many grey hairs suddenly sprouted on peoples’ heads after commenting on this thread.
Steal some of Nintendo’s branding and go with LemMiis
Music in restaurants and bars is just too loud. I know why the music is loud, but I am still going to shake my fist at it like Grandpa Simpson.
They can insist on being fairly paid, but the users have to think the transaction is fair as well. Ask Digg how much their platform was worth when all of the users were gone.
I am enjoying myself. It seems to be surprising stable so far considering. Not sure how well it is going to go on Reddit blackout day, but then Reddit used to be down all the time back in the day too.
There are some more features and things that I am sure could be implemented, but with more users Lemmy will get more people who want to work on it as well. Nothing that couldn’t be fixed with time.
On the instances side, Lemmy.ml wants to be a flagship instance, but not a general purpose instance, in spite of the fact that everyone here seems to be using it that way. Beehaw seems general interest but strongly moderated and controlled with only approved communities. I just wonder if someone will build a successful mainstream instance.
Nice, I have used a lot of apps over the years, but this is the one that has stuck with me.
Is Infinity FOSS? Its my preferred client, but I had no idea it was open source. Would be great if it supported Lemmy.
I am not sure that this really changes focus all that much. Sounds like there were only about 50 people working on swtor, and they are mostly sending them to Broadsword, so it isn’t like they are redirecting them to work on their other properties. I guess it frees up some budget for other things, but my understanding was that the old republic was mostly self sustaining (or it probably would have been shut down years ago).
I have been wanting to try it now that I have a computer capable of running it, but there are other games currently taking up my time. I am a bit wary since I have never really played any kojima games and what I have seen of a lot of them seems pretty far up its own ass.
Just own it. Everyone is freaky about something. Let your freak flag fly.
