I mean, nice, but that definitely doesn’t in any way alleviate my fears of syphilis.
I may or may not be any number of unfathomable beings.
Account migration from @skulblaka@startrek.website after learning the admins of that instance are wankers.

“Cruisin” is no longer a thing. Teens used to spend hours on nice nights driving up and down a certain stretch of road in nearly every city somewhere.
Not only is this no longer a thing it’s actually explicitly illegal in some places. Passing the same location 4 times within a short period or “driving without a destination” can get you a ticket if the cops are paying attention.
And yet it illustrates his point so poignantly!
that goofy dude that likes to play dumb around electricity
You’re probably talking about Electroboom, but also check out StyroPyro. Especially now, guy needs the views, he’s going through some serious medical issues. Probably my favorite YouTube channel that exists.
That’s real rich from the guy that didn’t even read his own source he posted in this conversation. Try harder.
He was the only option on my primary lmao
Only sort of, it still exists but it’s a lot more compact now. And not super common as far as I know, like the other poster said here air cooling has come a long way. I’ve got a water cooled GTX 1080 Ti in my rig right now, but it’s basically just a couple rubber tubes coming off the GPU leading to a little square radiator that I have a fan bolted to. It all sits inside the case (or, well, it’s intended to… My case isn’t quite large enough for everything I’ve got in it so I’ve got the radiator and fan a little bit jury-rigged to the front of my case right now. No biggie.)
“It’s been memory holed”
No, your own source states that that was never announced. It was talked about within the party. There was never a public announcement to the American people stating that he would not run as an incumbent. Every source reporting on that was and is reporting on unsubstantiated hearsay never set into stone.
If you’d like to compare, Trump is tagged at 30,573 verified lies only during his time in office, not even counting statements made on either campaign trail.
That does very accurately sum up my understanding of the matter, thanks. I haven’t been adding on to any of the other conversation in order to avoid putting my foot in my mouth further, but you’ve pretty much hit the nail on the head here. And the higher mathematics required to solve this halting problem are beyond me.
Sure, when you start decoupling the numbers from their actual values. The only thing this proves is that the fraction-to-decimal conversion is inaccurate. Your floating points (and for that matter, our mathematical model) don’t have enough precision to appropriately model what the value of 7/9 actually is. The variation is negligible though, and that’s the core of this, is the variation off what it actually is is so small as to be insignificant and, really undefinable to us - but that doesn’t actually matter in practice, so we just ignore it or convert it. But at the end of the day 0.999… does not equal 1. A number which is not 1 is not equal to 1. That would be absurd. We’re just bad at converting fractions in our current mathematical understanding.
Edit: wow, this has proven HIGHLY unpopular, probably because it’s apparently incorrect. See below for about a dozen people educating me on math I’ve never heard of. The “intuitive” explanation on the Wikipedia page for this makes zero sense to me largely because I don’t understand how and why a repeating decimal can be considered a real number. But I’ll leave that to the math nerds and shut my mouth on the subject.
I expected Bee Movie and I’m almost disappointed
Oh yes, as opposed to Google or Microsoft who definitely aren’t already data-sucking, predatory adware companies. No thanks, I’ll stick with the lesser evil.
If you’re going to lie to everyone at least make it sound believable.
They really do require a certain sort of attitude, you have to be okay with getting your shit kicked in 342 times before squeaking out a win. Although good matchmaking helps alleviate this a bit.
I grew up not really “getting” fighting games but in the last few years I’ve really gotten into them in a big way. Been playing some SF6 recently but my true love is Guilty Gear. GG Strive is what got me into fighting games as a whole and taught me what okizeme and plus-on-block mean.
Lots of Smash fans here looks like, I also enjoy smash bros but if we do have a general FGC it might be better to separate them just so that the two communities don’t run over each other. Smash is incredibly popular but it doesn’t have a whole lot in common with other more traditional fighting games.
